how much will the chevy camaro 2009 convertible cost when it comes out? If you dont know can you give me an estimate?
THANKS

Well the Camaro convertible will be out one year after the hard top so figure January of 2010. Best guess around $30000 sticker however depending on options and how hot they are you will pay more than that for it.

its not going to cost more than a corvette, so don’t listen to the guy that thinks its $65,000.

about $28-30,000 sounds right, thats where the nicer new cars are being priced at. For an idea, the new Saturn Sky is priced at $31,000 or so right now. so its cars like that that are going for that much.

ok nevermind what everyone else is saying this is simple economics the 2007 Corvette Z06 hits about $78,000 fully equiped so its not going to be more than that. The 2007 Monte Carlo SS Fully Equiped hits For $30,000 So its not going to be any less than that. Now besides the 303hp monte SS and the corvette Z06 with 505 hp the camaro comes in with 400 hp. I’d expect it to be anywhere from 40,000 to 45,000 because common sense should tell everyone even the guy who’s dad sells cars, including chevy that from 30k add 6 and you get a trailblazer or silverado and 8 more to that you get a tahoe but still no corvette so lets give the people the next best thing. CAMARO coupe or convertible. But they want to make it affordable yet reasonable enough so it won’t fade out the Monte Carlo so that’s their reason for the higher price. Imagine if it was 30k, camaros for everyone and monte carlos, impalas and equinoxs will have dirt signs " Please buy ME "

Some of these ‘guys’ are so fill of it.

I’ve herd it will be in the range of the 30K mark w/ the SS model being around 45K.

Some of you people are way off the charts. The only way the new Camaro will cost over $60K is if the dealers mark it up that way (similar to the new Shelby GT500).

    Here is my estimates:
    Base Camaro (V6): $28-30K
    Z28 Camaro (LS3 V8): $37-40K
    SS Camaro (LS7 V8): $45K

The LS3 will be rolling out in the new Vettes at about the same time, so I’d expect a powered-down version of it to be in the new Camaro. If not, look for an upgraded LS2 (possibly 425 hp). The new Z06 will probably be rolling the supercharged LS7 (see project Blue Devil), making the LS7 a doable option for the SS. Remember, Chevy will not allow the Camaro, even this new one, to out-perform the flagship Corvette.
