    Exactly as stated; they will be discounted and sold.

    If you have ever heard the advertisements for model year end closeouts, that’s what it’s all about. Dumping the old new ones for new new ones. ;-)

    As stated above, they’re discounted until sold. Another trick is to sell them off to car rental agencies, leasing companies, etc.

    Walk into a motorcycle dealer sometime. You’ll see brand new 2008, 2007, and possibly even 2006 motorcycles for sale as well.

    They get heavily discounted, some are sold to the public, some become company cars, some to fleet hire company’s and some are sold by high street dealers who register them and sell them on the second hand market as delivery mileage only cars.

    They still try to sell them for an extra month, then they send them to the auctions where independant car dealerships buy them.
