I have a 2009 fish calender how does it know how good the fish bite?
February 27th, 2010 | by admin |I have one of the fish calenders that has a fish on each day and the more of the fish that is shaded the better the fishing is on that but how do they know
Because, they say on a full moon, fish bite better. All it is, is really just telling you if it’s going to be a full, half, or crescent moon. Those are pretty cool calendars. And the thing about fish biting better on a full moon is a kind of a legend, but for some reason they do bite better.
Hope i helped ya out.

The guy above me is exactly right! The moon also accounts for tide somehow, but that’s beyond me.

Charles is right to some degree. The fish markers on your calender revolve around the moon phases and what is known by anglers to be the best time to fish. What the calendar doesn’t state is the weather conditions at that time. It might be a great day to fish according to the calendar but when you step outside and you feel a golf ball sized hail hit you on the head you’ll know it’s not a good time to be fishing. The calendar is just a marker but you also have to add in many factors (like tide and weather, cash on hand and so on) to make it a great day. I would add more but then I’d be giving away secrets.~good luck catchin.’
