Well, I don’t believe humanity is ready for an assencion, not by ourselves anyway, if you really look at it, as a global civilization, for all our achievements, we are still barbarians, we still kill our own for the most mundane and uncivilized reasons that can be mentioned, money, power, ethnicity… just to mention a few… so i believe 2012 will either be a day of catastrophe (because of the solar alignment and orbital pull of planets and what not) or it will be just another day.

I agree with much …
I agree with much of what you say. I think organized religion is basically about controlling and conforming people.
The Roman Catholic Church is the wealthiest organization on the planet with enough net worth to feed, clothe and shelter every person on the planet. So why do they allow people to be homeless or why do they allow starvation?
It’d be nice to literally see them practice what they preach.

Too bad the Mayan Calendar was translated by the people who force to forgot about their culture and tried to translate it , with the Christian influnce, kinda strange the doomsday matches the bibles doomsday, and have alot of similiaries to pagan, which is a western culture. so much bs
